AFAA HALL OF FAME

• The person for this award needs to be nominated by Excom Members
• We prefer to honor just one person each time with this award. It is the big one
• After the Excom reviews nominations received and decides on the awardee, it will be put up to and cleared by the General Body.
• Every alternate year the AFAA will induct someone suitable, into its Hall of Fame
• This induction is not mandatory and will be carried out only when a person of adequate gravitas and who is deserving of such a signal honour is identified and recommended by the Excom and accepted by the General Body of AFAA. An effort would be made to name only one person to preserve the exclusivity of this honour but the final decision on how many people to recommend to the General Body would be the prerogative of the Excom

HONORARY LIFE MEMBER

The awardee must be a person who is recognized for his/her contribution to AFAA and the marketing communications industry. This is usually given to persons who have provided many years of service to AFAA and the industry

The process is as follows:

The Executive Committee will propose the names and will require the approval of the General Body. All Honorary Life Members may attend all meetings of the General Body without voting rights. Honorary Life Members will not pay any subscription fees to AFAA

AFAA SPECIAL MERIT AWARD

This is generally given to people to recognize their contribution to AFAA as an institution for a few years. They should also have served the industry in their country for several years.
