AFAA Hall of Fame
The name for this award needs to be nominated only by Execom members. To honor just one person each time with this award. The Execom reviews nominations received from members and decides on the name, it will be put up to, and cleared by the General Body.

The criteria are as follows:
• Every alternate year the AFAA will induct someone suitable, into its Hall of Fame.
• This induction is not mandatory, and will be carried out only when a person of adequate gravitas and who is deserving of such a signal honor is identified and recommended by the Execom, and accepted by the General Body of AFAA. An effort would be made to name only one person to preserve the exclusivity of this honor but the final decision on how many people to recommend to the General Body would be the prerogative of the Execom.

Criteria for identification by the execom
A person who can be recommended for induction into the AFAA Hall of Fame should be one who has:
• Played an exemplary role in the affairs of Asian advertising, marketing and media industry as a whole for a considerable length of time.
• Has consistently looked beyond his own existence and interests.
• Has had a successful stint working in the advertising, marketing or media industry
• Has supported the industry as a whole.
• Has been a pillar of strength for AFAA.
• Is a shining example worthy of emulation by the industry.

AFAA Special Merit Award
This is generally given to people to recognize their contribution to AFAA as an institution. From those nominations the Execom will selects a name/s and recommend these to the General Body.

Honorary Life Member
The criteria for this is a person who is recognized for his/her contribution to AFAA and the marketing communications industry. This is usually given to people who have many years of service to their name.

The Executive Committee will propose the names and will require the approval of the General Body. All Honorary Life Members may attend all meetings of the General Body without voting rights. Honorary Life Members will not pay any subscription fees to AFAA.
